Alchevsque is a visual exploration of the industrial culture and visual aesthetics of eastern Ukraine. Anton Ivanov grew up in the city of Alchevsk in Luhansk region. The city surrounded by 3 factories shaped the aesthetic paradigm as well as the attitude to work.

Immersed in the industrial world we are attempting to understand the code of culture of eastern Ukraine as well as the toolkit of human being as an individual who identifies himself as both separate and part of the world.

Le Corbusier, in his book "The New Spirit in Architecture," says that human beings, striving to subdue the world of nature, operate with straight lines, outlining the vertical in the landscape. In this way, the individual orders the world around with geometry. By creating a construction we wants to undercut his fear of the world around.
